I have recently found a direction for the type of shooting I would like to pursue full time. It has kind of floated around somewhere in the back of my head for a few years now. When you live in a media driven town however, a tendency to only take the work that is given (mainly pertaining to shooting promotional material) is always present. Only recently have I decided to take the time and begin developing my eye for outdoor lifestyle shooting. I know I have a lot to learn but I’ll say that there is something quite comforting in having a direction in which you are headed in your career. Does this mean that I will not be shooting anything else? No. It just means that you’ll be seeing a lot more posts of cool people doing cool things in cool places. With that said, I’ll be dedicating this summer to shooting images that could possibly be used for editorial advertisement.
