A few weeks ago I had the privilege of working on the set of Trip Lee’s new music video Hero. Honestly, I don’t think the directors could have asked for a better artist to work with. Trip put in long hard hours and never complained one time. That dude is legit and great to work with.
When one shoots a music video and has his/her hands on a Red camera for a weekend, one must take the opportunity to shoot for a personal project before the actual video begins. So with that said, TK set up a few scenes for the style series shoots. We used co-director and artist Sho Baraka as our model. I should mention that Sho does not drink or smoke. These were simply props used for the shot. We got some pretty cool stuff for sure.
I should mention also that I’m falling in love with consistent lighting. I’m definitely scheming some future shoots mixing strobe lighting with consistent.
Peace!
